Founded in 2017 by Bernie Chase, former owner of Symbolic Motor Company and RM Auctions, Chase Contemporary has quickly amassed a global reputation, representing a vast assortment of contemporary masters and emerging artists across numerous genres and styles. With a flagship on what has become the most coveted block of Chelsea’s fine art district, the gallery maintains a prominent space on 10th avenue between 23rd and 24th Streets. In 2020, the gallery opened another location in East Hampton, New York, situated on bustling, picturesque Newtown Lane, known for the best shopping and cultural offerings in the Hamptons. Showcasing a diverse selection of painting, photography, sculpture, and works on paper, Chase welcomes displays of emerging and established artists alongside secondary market artworks.

We have successfully created a space for all variations of collectors, who can immerse themselves in the highly cherished universe of contemporary art. Founded to exhibit work by celebrated post-war and contemporary artists, the gallery is committed to displaying works from innovators such as Peter Beard, Yayoi Kusama, Robert Indiana, and Andy Warhol, with a special emphasis on street art by pioneers such as Richard Hambleton and RETNA. Our roster of represented artists includes a focus on rising female artists from across the globe.

Chase Contemporary has proudly published prints for a number of artists including Ole Aakjeer and continues to publish catalogs and books. The gallery participates in major art fairs such as Art Miami and Art New York, and continues to serve as a hub for all genres and styles of contemporary artwork.
